İnsanın en temel ihtiyacı olan beslenmede dünyanın ne kadar adaletsiz olduğunu gözler önüne seren bir tablo çıkmış ortaya. Proje, dünyadaki farklı ülkelerin mutfağına giren haftalık yiyecekleri ve bunların ne kadara mal olduğunu göstermiş. Norveç’ten Kanada’ya ve Türkiye’ye kadar pek çok ülkenin yer aldığı projeyi Hungry Planet (Acıkmış Gezegen) kitabında derlemişler.

21 ülkeden, 21 farklı ailenin bir haftada beslenmeye harcadığı miktarın listesi, değişen kültür ve coğrafyanın mutfakta nasıl bir etkiye yol açtığını çarpıcı bir şekilde gösteriyor.
