California Eyaletinde Yaşanan Yangın Felaketinin Büyüklüğünü Gösteren 19 Görsel

ABD’nin California eyaletinin güneyinde dört gün önce gün önce (4 Aralık) ormanlık alanda çıkan yangının şiddetli rüzgarın etkisiyle yayılmaya devam ediyor. Sıcak ve kuru Santa Ana rüzgarının hızının saatte 130 kilometreye ulaştığını belirtilirken, bu rüzgarların yangınla mücadelede büyük sorunlar oluşturuduğu söyleniyor.

California Orman ve Yangın Koruma Birimi Müdürü Ken Pimlott, yaptığı açıklamada,”Renk kodu sistemine göre, bölgede en şiddetli rüzgara tekabül eden mor koduna geçildi. Daha önceden mor kodunu hiç kullanmamıştık.” ifadesini kullanıyor.

Yangın henüz kontrol altına alınmış değil. Umuyoruz can ve mal kaybı olmadan bu felaket en kısa sürede son bulur.
